Ｋ－ＲＥＩＴ　ＡＳＩＡがKeppel　REITに名称変更するそうです。Keppel　Groupであることを明確にしたいのでしょうか？

K-REIT Asia is now Keppel REIT
The Board and management of Keppel REIT Management Limited ("Manager") are pleased to announce that K-REIT Asia is now known as Keppel REIT. The Manager is also renamed from K-REIT Asia Management Limited to Keppel REIT Management Limited.

Dr Audrey Chin, Chairman of Keppel REIT Management, said, "We started out in 2006 with an initial portfolio comprising three buildings valued at $630 million. Today, we have grown to become one of Singapore's largest real estate investment trusts ("REIT") with a $6.35 billion portfolio of premium office properties in the key business and financial districts of Singapore and Australia.

"As we move into the future, we want to position the REIT for sustainable growth. The renaming is a step forward in this direction. The Keppel name is synonymous with resilience, reliability as well as quality, and the renaming will allow us to leverage the Keppel brand name in achieving our vision."

The investment mandate for Keppel REIT remains the same - to be a successful REIT with a sterling portfolio of commercial assets pan-Asia. Today, Keppel REIT owns approximately 3 million sf of quality office space.

The outlook for the Asian office markets remains positive in the long-term as companies continue to diversify their presence in Asia. Notwithstanding concerns over the Eurozone debt crisis and uneven growth in the US, Asian economies are expected to remain resilient with about 6.5% growth expected for 2012, according to the International Monetary Fund.

Ms Ng Hsueh Ling, CEO of Keppel REIT Management, said, "Today, Keppel REIT is the largest owner of premium Grade A office space in the Raffles Place and Marina Bay precincts, making us one of the best proxies to owning premium commercial properties located in the heart of Singapore's business and financial districts.

"Our Unitholders can take pride in knowing that these quality office assets are leased to a diversified stable of creditable tenants on long leases with rent reviews. The robust property fundamentals and lease profile of the assets provide secure cashflows and stable returns.

Following the name change, Keppel REIT's new trading name on the Singapore Exchange will be "Kep REIT". There will be no change to the trading code number "K71U.SG".
