インドネシア ２０１９年までに国民健康保険を導入へ

下記引用記事によると、インドネシアが２０１９年までに全国民対象に健康保険を導入するようです。

これはインドネシア関連のREITであるFirst　REITとLipoo Malls Indonesian Retail　Trustのいずれにもポジティブなニュースでしょう。

First　REITは病院REITですので、健康保険の導入で患者の利用が増え、さらに稼働率が高まると思われます。

また、従来インドネシア国民は病気に備えて一定の所得を貯蓄に回さざるを得なかったと思いますが、保険の導入により、病気に備え貯蓄していた分が消費に回ってくると思いますので、個人消費の拡大も期待できます。したがってリテールセクターのLippo Malls Indonesian Retail Trustにもポジティブな動きでしょう。

ANNUAL BUDGET SPEECH: All Indonesian to Have Health Insurance by 2019


The government is targeting the entire population of Indonesia have health insurance by 2012 at the latest.

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said that Health and Social Security Administering Body (BPJS) to conduct a national health insurance will be formed and operated.

"At early 2014 will be established and started operations BPJS to conduct a national health insurance. At the latest by 2019, the entire population of Indonesia will have health coverage," said President Yudhoyono in a state speech welcoming the 67th Independence day of Indonesia in front of the joint session of Parliament and the Council at the Parliament building Thursday, August 16, 2012.

Government and Parliament, he said, has enacted Law No. 24/2011 on BPJS in line with the regulation publication in stages consisting five types of social insurance namely health insurance, accident insurance, pension insurance and life insurance.

President added the poor can be treated and cared for free of charge at health centers and hospitals following the enactment of Law No. 40/2004 on National Social Security System.

"To fulfill the right for a healthy life for all citizens without exception is a goal of implementing the national social security system," said the president.

Through health care reform, he said, the government changed the paradigm of free medical treatment into become healthy for free.

To realize that, improvement on health insurance services and other health development activities is needed which come along with population growth, advances in science and technology, environmental sustainability, and cultural development paradigm of healthy living among people.

"With healthcare reform, we want to build not only physically healthy Indonesian, but also sane Indonesian in order to build a strong, tough and smart nation" he said.
